KeyStone Starts 2013 with a Concert and Workshop

KeyStone at MilkBoy 12-15-12

KeyStone’s Holiday Concert at MilkBoy

We had a great series of performances in December with our holiday set, and it’s already back to performing our standard repertoire next weekend. We will be performing at the Pennsylvania Leadership Charter School’s Center for Performing and Fine Arts in West Chester, PA on Saturday, January 19 at 2:00 PM. CPFA is Tom’s full-time instrumental music teaching position, and we’re hoping for a great turnout of students, parents, and faculty. The concert is open to the public, so if you are in the greater Philadelphia area, you’re invited!

Tickets are $10 and available in advance on Brown Paper Tickets  – remaining unsold tickets will be available at the door cash only. Let us know you’re coming on the Facebook Event Page!

Also, we’re serving as instructors and featured performers at the 3rd Annual Project-Philly A Cappella Winter Workshop! The headlining act is Cartoon Johnny, a great professional vocal band from Washington, DC. We met CJ at the VoCALnation Festival this past summer and can’t wait to share the stage with them!

If you are an a cappella singer, you can attend the workshops solo or bring your entire group. There are performance opportunities for full groups as well as full-group private masterclasses. If you don’t want to attend the workshops and clinics, you can just come for the evening concert, which features an opening act yet to be decided, KeyStone, and Cartoon Johnny. The schedule for the entire day and all registration fees can be found on Eventbrite. There’s a Facebook event page for the workshop and the evening concert – let us know you’re coming!

We’ve got other big plans for 2013, one of which will be announced very soon. We hope to see you at these upcoming events.
